Ann Wagner hides from the people. I reach out to them.

These are the people Ann Wagner has been scared to face

I’ve been out on the trail day-in and day-out because meeting new folks and talking to them about the issues is my favorite part of campaigning. Even if it seems unreal to hear in Missouri’s 2nd District — this people-powered movement is interested in reaching out to the people.

Here are some of those recent moments:

First stop was the Warren County Labor Club to help collect donations to Wright City’s Operation Backpack, an organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals for children when school meals aren’t available over the weekend. Unlike Ann Wagner, these folks are showing up for our neighbors year-round, not only when it is convenient for them.

Then we spent the following morning with good food and even better company in South County, fueling up before our busy day across the district and meeting folks where they are.

We then headed out to Foristell to join in on the Farmers & Laborers BBQ alongside the St. Charles County Dems and so many friends from the area. We shared great food and came together with a simple message: no family should have to drive hours to get the healthcare they need, and no person should ever be prevented from organizing, joining a union, or earning a fair wage to live with dignity.

It was back to South County the next day when we set up shop at Voter Palooza, a No-Kings festival hosted in St. Louis. It was great to talk to old friends, make new ones, and get the chance to spread the word about our campaign with folks who are sick and tired of the MAGA regime running things here.

But we’re not done yet.

Support this campaign!

We kept up the pace the next morning, meeting with the UAW Local 110 Retirees in Fenton County. These are the hard-working folks who have been left behind by Ann Wagner; they built our cars and helped grow the middle class. Now, MAGA Republicans simply use them for their vote every two years, taking advantage of the people who built this nation.

And we did the same thing that evening back in St. Charles County, speaking with folks at the Tri-County Labor Club and pledging my support to labor every step of the way.

This is what a campaign is supposed to look like

Just this past weekend alone, I’ve shaken hands with more people in this district than Ann Wagner has in her entire career in office. She’s continued her game of hide-and-seek with her constituents, only stepping foot in this district for a PR stunt away from public view.

She’s tried to hide from the people. I reach out to them instead. And what people are seeing for the first time in 13 years is someone who respects them and wants to actually help them.

That’s the entire reason I’m running for Congress. I didn’t enter politics for personal profit or to please those at the top. I’m running on a simple premise: the people of Missouri’s 2nd District deserve better.

Your ongoing support has allowed us to travel this district dozens of times over and make our case to the voters. If you want us to keep this up over the final stretch of this campaign, please, chip in whatever you can today:
