I have a major ask today.

A quick post in a mission-critical moment

I’m usually not this blunt, but tonight is a mission-critical moment for this campaign.

That’s because we only have a few hours left before our final FEC fundraising deadline for this entire campaign. And I’m not going to sugar-coat anything for you — it’s going to be a make-or-break moment for us.

If we can cap off this month with a major fundraising boost, we’re in prime position to flip this seat, fire Ann Wagner, and flip the House blue this November.

But if we fall short, then it’s all over for us. We’re going to get flooded with more negative ads and smear pieces that have already been running non-stop on Missouri airwaves.

So if you can spare a few minutes — and a few dollars — to take back Missouri and hold Trump accountable, listen up.

MAKE A LAST-MINUTE CONTRIBUTION

What I see on the ground

Something has been on my mind these last few weeks out on the campaign trail.

It’s a feeling you don’t experience much down here in deep-red territory — enthusiasm for our campaign.

Families, farmers, and folks across Missouri’s Second District have never shown this enthusiasm for a Democrat in years. They’re hopeful. They’re ready for change in Washington, and they see us as the people to finally deliver.

When pundits like the Cook Political Report, Nate Silver’s Bulletin, and just recently, Sabato’s Crystal Ball, all shift the race in our favor, you know this isn’t just anecdotal. When a new poll from Remington Research — a Republican-based pollster — only has us one point behind Ann Wagner, we have the numbers to prove it. This is real, clear-cut momentum.

And like the rest of the nation, they expect a “blue wave” to come this November because Donald Trump and his MAGA Republicans have broken their promises with their destructive, authoritarian agenda.

Their popularity has cratered in every part of the country — including here in Missouri. No Republican is more unpopular than Congresswoman Ann Wagner.

Enthusiasm needs to translate into action

But she’s worth $26 million and has $4 million in the bank.

We’ve already raised a fair bit heading into the final month of this campaign. In any other district, we’d have enough to win. However, because we’re up against Ann Wagner’s MAGA money machine, the Missouri GOP, Trump’s billionaire allies and their corporate PAC dollars, we can’t win with enthusiasm alone.

This isn’t the time to sit back, relax, and believe we’ll cruise to Washington on a “blue wave.” If we don’t have the resources to flip this seat, then we won’t flip this seat.

So I’m not done yet. You’re not done yet. If you want to help me take back Missouri and flip the House, chip in whatever you can before midnight.
